Clean Energy Careers Survey

Year after year the advanced energy economy grows in size and scope. Yet, building a career in clean energy is still a relatively new concept, and there is much to learn about how to find and secure a job in this rapidly growing sector.

The Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) is partnering with Greentech Media (GTM) to explore best practices for finding and keeping clean energy jobs.If you work in the clean energy sector, please take the survey!

For the purposes of this survey, we define “clean energy professionals” as individuals who are working for public/private organizations in the following areas: (1) renewable energy generation – solar, wind, biomass, nuclear, geothermal, etc. (2) energy efficiency and sustainability, and/or (3) electric vehicles, transportation, and other clean energy “nexus” technologies. This applies to those who do not work exclusively within one of these categories, but touch some of these areas (e.g. working for a utility).

Results from this survey will be used to create a report of initial findings, as well as educational resources and for students, early-stage clean energy professionals, and others who are seeking to enter the industry.

Estimated survey time: About 15 minutes

Part 1 (15 min): Multiple-Choice Questions. Please feel free to choose “N/A” for any questions that don’t apply to you.

Part 2 (5-15 min): Open-Ended Questions. Please answer as many questions as you’d like.

Please Note: You may take this survey anonymously. All information shared in the multiple choice section (Part 1) will remain confidential and not shared with anyone outside of the survey administrator.
