Carolina Ramos is the Sustainability Program Manager for the Jersey City Office of Sustainability, where she coordinates across departments to improve the City’s sustainability practices, researches and implements new community sustainability policies and develops action plans for meeting the City’s climate sustainability goals. Carolina enjoys growing hydroponic peppers and leafy greens in her apartment but suspects that her dog is sampling when she's away.

He loves staying active, is an aspiring scratch chef, is married to an incredible-but-vicious tickle monster, and has run with the bulls in Spain twice. He would like to one day sail around the world, learn to fly a plane, see the earth from outer space, and of course save the world for future generations.

Claudia Villar-Leeman is a passionate climate justice advocate. As an Energy Policy Advisor at the NYC Mayor’s Offices of Sustainability and Resiliency, she contributes to the City’s efforts to achieve a just energy transition that is clean, resilient, and affordable for all residents. Prior to joining the Mayor’s Office, Claudia taught biology and climate policy at a high school in the Dominican Republic, and later joined the team at the Climate Museum, the first U.S. museum dedicated to climate change. A Washington Heights native, Claudia still lives in the neighborhood (now with her partner, dog, and kitten) and can frequently be spotted birdwatching in Fort Tryon Park.

Cristina is an assistant director at BEI where she focuses on helping cities develop inclusive labor and workforce strategies that will enable an equitable transition away from fossil fuels. Cristina believes it is critical to be intentional about programs and policies that will create high-quality jobs that are accessible to all, especially for historically marginalized and under-represented groups. In her free time, Cristina enjoys hiking and organizing events for Latinxs in Sustainability, a group that she founded in 2017 committed to expanding inclusive opportunities in the sustainability industry.

Outside of work, David likes to go snowboarding and backpacking, runs marathons, and is learning to play the banjo.

When he's not driving from town-to-town across New York, you're likely to find Ian doting on his surplus of houseplants, soaking up sun on a NYC park bench, or anxiously awaiting the return of live music.

Jamie Yarmoff is the Senior Manager of Origination at AES Clean Energy where she manages offtaker opportunities & negotiations for renewable energy assets. Previously, she oversaw the construction and financing of multiple utility-scale solar projects as a Project Manager with sPower. She is obsessed with her dog, Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and HGTV, preferably all at the same time. She currently lives in Salt Lake City and is relocating to NYC during summer 2021.

Joe is a Senior Specialist of Non-Pipeline Solutions at Con Edison where he works on decarbonizing the gas utility business. Prior to joining Con Edison, he was Director of Programs at the Urban Future Lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where he helped launch the region's first hydrogen technology accelerator. He is an advisor for sustainability curricula at the education non-profit W!SE and holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from NYU and an M.S. in Urban Sustainability from the City College of New York. He's also way too confident about how good his homemade pizzas are.
