2026 Golden Gate Run for Clean Energy (5K run/walk)

Please join us in San Francisco for CELI’s fifth annual 5K fundraiser, the 2026 Golden Gate Run for Clean Energy. As part of San Francisco Climate Week, we’re bringing together a diverse group of organizations, individuals, and families committed to a clean energy future. 

Together, we aim to raise $50,000 for CELI’s work advancing clean energy leadership. We’d love to have you be part of this special day—whether you’re racing, strolling, or volunteering alongside our community. In addition to the 5K, participating organizations will host tables to connect with attendees, followed by informal conversations at a nearby coffee shop.

  • Location: Crissy Field (East Parking Lot), San Francisco

  • Event Time: 8:00 AM (Arrival and sign-in), 9:00 AM (Race start time)

Please join CELI and E2 during San Francisco Climate Week for a discussion on how California’s policies and private and public investments are generating new opportunities to advance clean energy solutions, create green jobs, and build economic growth. Leading clean energy and climate tech investors Nancy Pfund (DBL Partners) and Samantha Grassle (Elemental Impact) will share their perspectives on California’s evolving clean energy sector and the key innovation and investment trends they’re tracking. We’ll also hear from Lauren Sanchez, Chair of the California Air Resources Board, on how state action—including the Cap-and-Invest program—is driving innovation.
