This fundraiser supports the work of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, a non-profit (501(c)3) organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of clean energy leaders through Fellowship, education and volunteer programs.

The mission of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) is to build a diverse community of leaders to drive an equitable, decarbonized, and resilient energy future by providing skills, networks, and training for professionals to lead the clean energy transition. CELI’s flagship Fellowship equips early-to-mid-career professionals with energy systems expertise, leadership skills, and an understanding of energy justice to create systemic change. Donations to CELI help make the program affordable to Fellows.

The 2026 Golden Gate Run for Clean Energy is the Clean Energy Leadership Institute’s fifth annual 5K fundraiser. This morning event will bring together a diverse group of organizations, individuals and families committed to a clean energy future. In addition to the 5K there will be organizations tabling and interacting with participants and coffee and conversation available to follow at a nearby coffee shop (more details provided with registration).
